Global Public School

Grade XII students conducted classes for the support staff of the school on Saturday16/02/2013. The classes were conducted by the enthusiastic students to enhance the communication skill and English speaking abilities of the support staff.

On Saturday 9th Feb, 29 of our hostel students visited St. Mary’s Boys Home, Thalacode, a charitable institution that houses and caters to the needs of homeless boys. It proved to be a unique and heart touching experience where all the children conversed, played and had fun together forgetting all their differences and worries. The children also visited the four elderly women who stay at the old age home there and interacted with them, bringing a smile on their age worn faces. The visit was wrapped up with songs and poetry that the children, of our school and of the Home, rendered.

The fistful of rice campaign initiated in the last academic year continued its successful mission this year too. Over 200 kilos of rice was collected from the weekly contributions by students. The rice was given to the inmates of Vijnanodhayam , a school in Udayamperoor . We continue with our contributions and thus create happiness in the lives of many ....
