Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, the most famous tale from the Arabian Nights, was brought alive by around 300 students at the year end grand musical show.
For the first time, the performance had two main casts performing live across two days, on the 26th and 27th of March.
The opulent set and the exceptionally talented cast of the play, whisked the audience back to the age old souks of Persia.
The show was the culmination of three months of planning and preparation by the teachers and students of the school. The humorous musical show had everyone in splits with its modern twists and one liners. With awe inspiring live music by the extraordinary school choir and graceful dance numbers as well as splendid theatrical performances,the extravaganza mesmerized everyone. Students of GPS-International have done us proud with their outstanding performance in the IGCSE (Grade X) and A level (Grade XII) examinations conducted by the Cambridge examination series in March 2018.

rijit John, Enrichment Supervisor, who directed the play, said that the event was conceived and executed wholly by the students and teachers of the school. The proceeds of the tickets will be utilized for philanthropic purposes.
