Global Public school -Towards saving the ocean from plastic

Even as the world, especially our oceans reel under the ill effects of plastic waste being dumped, students of Global Public school have tied up with Plan@Earth, to do their bit to clean up our environment.

As part of the Childrens' Day week-long celebration of the school, on 15th November, 20 students accompanied by teachers distributed bags to the locals and also collected 2 boats full of plastic waste that was retrieved by them from the sea. The plastic waste will be then upcycled by Plan@earth into fancy bags. This initiative was intended to spread awareness about the dangers of polluting our oceans.

Representatives of Plan@earth, Mr. Suraj,Mr. Mujeeb,Mr.Rashid were present at this event.
