Liyana Fathima Umer of grade 6 created new record at the Kerala State 34th Sub junior and 44th Junior Aquatic Championship held at Thiruvananthapuram in May 2017, by winning GOLD in the 50 meters freestyle ( Group 2).

Liyana also declared Individual Champion at the meet!
