Students of gps took part in the “No Honking” campaign organized by the Kochi chapter of YI (Young Indians) and presented a street play at Vytilla Mobility Hub on Tuesday, 12th January 2016.

The act was aimed at promoting the reduction of unnecessary vehicular honking and making the citizens more aware of the health hazards associated with it.

The mission  of the No Horning Campaign is to create awareness in the public of the ill-effects of vehicle horns; make as many as possible areas “Horn Not OK Zones”; urge the citizens, corporates and housing communities to join hands and pledge to no unnecessary use of horns; and measure the noise levels in the city and monitor the results.
