Admission Criteria

The admission criteria for 2024-25 GPS-International are as follows

School and Curriculum

GPS – International, a division of Global Education Trust offers students from grade 9-12 a chance to study an international curriculum through its tie up with Cambridge Assessment International Education, UK. The Curriculum is flexible and stimulating and offers a variety of routes for learners with a wide range of abilities. The syllabus helps learners develop 21st century skills.

The students study varied subjects as per their choice, leading towards the prestigious International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) from the University of Cambridge, UK(Equivalent to grade 9 and 10 ),Cambridge AS (Advanced Subsidiary);Cambridge A (Advanced) levels.

IGCSE Subject Options

  4. Hindi/French/Combined Science/ Travel & Tourism
  5. Physics/Economics/ Art & Design
  6. Chemistry/Accounting/Sociology

A levels Subject Options

  4. Biology/ Business /Computer Science
  5. Physics/Economics/ Art & Design

     *AS Level only

IGCSE , AS and A levels are   Recognized by universities and institutes of higher education around the world.They are also recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as being at par with CBSE, ICSE, State boards etc. 

Cambridge International A-Level is typically a two-year course, and Cambridge International AS Level is typically one year. Some subjects can be started as a Cambridge International AS Level and extended to Cambridge International A Level. 

The internal assessments (with weightage) at GPS-International include:- 

  •   Monthly review – 20% 
  •   Unit Test – 5% 
  •   Lab/Research/Project/Team Presentation/Essays – 5% 
  •   Term Review – 70% 

Subject option will be provided only if at least 5 are there to take the option.

Board Examinations are held in February- March. Examinations during other series will be conducted only for For subjects which are not offered in February series.

Results achieved by students in the past 5 years include

  • World topper in Business Studies, Travel & Tourism.
  • India topper in Applied ICT, Accounting, Food and Nutrition, Travel & Tourism, Environmental Management and Biology.
  • High achievement in Food & nutrition, Art & Design, Sociology.
