Global Public School and GPS International Mark National Reading Day with Author Ms. Vinitha
Kochi – Students of Grades 6 to 8, featuring renowned Indian author Ms. Vinitha. With a portfolio of over 25 books spanning fiction, non-fiction, and picture books, Ms. Vinitha is known for her relatable and impactful writing for children and young adults.
She spoke to the students about building self-confidence, nurturing self-esteem, and being comfortable in one’s own skin. To reinforce her message, she read from her book Hug Yourself: Body Positivity and Empowerment Stories for Teenagers.
At GPS, we believe reading is the best medicine — a powerful tool to inspire, heal, and empower. This session served as a meaningful reminder of the transformative impact of books and stories on young minds.
