The ‘GPS Superslam’ district-level swimming competition, organised by Global Public School, here concluded on Tuesday. After fiercely contested events, Rajagiri Christhu Jayanthi Public School emerged as the Overall Champions. Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor and The Choice School came first and second runners up in the competition. Approximately 300 students from 24 schools across Ernakulam district participated in the competition.

The swimming competition was inaugurated by the school’s Principal and Dean, Dileep George. The events were organised into four groups, featuring various categories including freestyle, butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and relay. As part of Global Public School’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, entertaining pool games were also arranged for the children. Principal Dileep George awarded trophies and medals to the winners.
