Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor hosted the GPS SuperSlam Swimming Gala 2026, an exciting inter-school swimming championship that brought together more than 250 student-athletes from schools across the district.

The gala featured competitions across six age groups, with students showcasing their skills in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and medley relay events. The championship provided young swimmers with an excellent platform to demonstrate their talent, competitive spirit and sportsmanship.

The event was inaugurated by Sreedevi N R, Head of GPS International. The welcome address was delivered by Ethan Basil Wilson, Deputy Sports Captain, who warmly welcomed the participating schools, athletes, officials and guests.

Overall Championship Results

Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi Public School, Kakkanad emerged as the Overall Champions. Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor secured the position of First Runners-up, while The Choice School was declared Second Runners-up.
