Students celebrated “Bhasha Sangam” in December with a special assembly wherein they spoke in 15 different languages- Sanskrit, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Konkani, Marathi, Gujrati, Punjabi, Bengali, Odiya, Urdu, Kashmiri, Dongri and Nepal.
‘Bhasha Sangam’ is an initiative of Human Recourses Development, Dept. of School Education & Literacy, Govt. of India under the “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” programme, meant to provide multilingual exposure to the students and provide them with effective learning opportunities to enhance linguistic tolerance, respect & promote national integration.
