Clean Up Drive at Thevara for a cleaner Kochi

Our students continued their week-long Children’s Day Celebration by giving back to the community.

The student community under the banner Kids4Kochi collaborated with Bin It India to conduct a Clean-up drive in and around the area of Thevara Ferry road in Ernakulam, today.

The area near the bus stand was especially littered with broken bottles, plastic waste and other garbage. Students from Grades 7-12 cleared the filth in the area from 6 am to 8 am today, giving a pleasant view to the local residents as they woke up.

Prior to the pandemic, the students of Global Public School were active in various charitable activities and environment friendly initiatives. They intend to continue with more of such campaigns and do their bit for the society.

Ms. Diya Mathew and Ms. Tracy Mathew of Bin It India along with Mr. P Jacob, Chairman of Global Public School, Ms. Lakshmi Ramachandran, Advisor to the Chairman, Mr. Johan Jacob, Director of the school, Ms. Saritha Jayaraj, Principal and other staff members also took part in the initiative to clean the city.
