Dreams & Visions 2026: CISAK’s Inaugural Visual and Creative Arts Festival Celebrates Creativity Across Kerala
GPS International, Thiruvaniyoor, Kochi, a division of Global Education Trust, successfully hosted the inaugural Visual and Creative Arts Festival, Dreams & Visions, on June 17, 2026, as part of the initiatives of the Cambridge International Schools’ Association of Kerala (CISAK).
The festival brought together young artists from Grades 5 to 12 from eight Cambridge international schools across Kerala, spanning regions from Kannur to Thiruvananthapuram. Designed as a platform to nurture artistic expression and creativity, the event encouraged students to explore diverse visual and creative art forms while showcasing their unique talents.
Centred around the theme “Imagination and Possibility,” the festival inspired participants to transform everyday elements into meaningful visual narratives that reflected growth, innovation, and hope for the future. The event was a vibrant celebration of originality, imagination, and artistic excellence.
Beyond the competitions, Dreams & Visions fostered collaboration, cultural exchange, and creative thinking among students from different parts of the state, strengthening connections within the Cambridge school community.
The judging panel featured distinguished artists Mr. Sujith S. N., recipient of the Kerala Lalit Kala Akademi State Award and the FICA Emerging Artist Award, and Ms. Siji Krishnan, an acclaimed contemporary artist whose work has been exhibited at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, National Gallery of Victoria Triennial, and Moscow Biennale, and is part of prestigious collections including the Dallas Museum of Art and the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art.
Ms. Anu Lakshman, Cambridge International School Development Manager, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and interacted with students and educators, encouraging young artists to continue pursuing their creative passions.
Devamatha CMI International School, Thrissur, emerged as the Overall Champion, delivering outstanding performances across the various competitions.
The successful inaugural edition of Dreams & Visions marked a significant milestone in promoting visual and creative arts within the Cambridge school community in Kerala. The festival served as an inspiring platform for students to imagine boldly, create confidently, and express themselves through the transformative power of art.
