Students of Grade 6-12 of the CBSE curriculum and Grades 9-12 of  GPS- International (Cambridge curriculum) as well as GPS Brookes (International Baccalaureate curriculum) competed on the track, on Monday, 7th November., after a hiatus of 2 years due to the pandemic. The 15th Annual Sports Day was aptly themed  ‘Back on Track’, 

Dr. Stalin Raphael of the Kerala State Athletics Association and Head of the Department of Physical Education (St. Joseph’s College, Irinjalakuda) presided over the event and accepted the salute. He reminded the students that hard work and perseverance is the only way to success.

At the event, different Houses named after the elements (Air, Earth, Fire and Water) competed in various field and track events. This year, the fervour and enthusiasm displayed by the students was at its peak as they vied for the coveted overall trophy. The Hoola hoop and saree display of the students was a spectacular show

Water House was declared the Overall Champions. The March Past trophy was also lifted by Water House. Earth House won the Cheering Trophy.

The 15th Annual Sports Day was attended by Mr. P. Jacob, Chairman; Mrs. Lakshmi Ramachadran, Advisor to the Chairman; Ms. Shamim Mohammed,School Advisory Comittee Member ( Enrichment) ,Ms.Annie Inasu School Advisory Comittee Member ( Early Years Learning), Mr. Johan Jacob, Director, Ms. Saritha Jayaraj, Principal; parents and other well wishers.
