Even as the world, especially our oceans reel under the ill effects of plastic waste being dumped, students of Global Public school have tied up with Plan@Earth, to do their bit to clean up our environment.

As part of the Childrens’ Day week-long celebration of the school, on 15th November, 20 students accompanied by teachers distributed bags to the locals and also collected 2 boats full of plastic waste that was retrieved by them from the sea. The plastic waste will be then upcycled by Plan@earth into fancy bags. This initiative was intended to spread awareness about the dangers of polluting our oceans.
