The informative Know Your School’s Environment quiz conducted on the Environment Day by middle schoolers on Monday, 05 June 2023 gave a snapshot of all eco-friendly aspects of the campus at Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor.

The school which has been nationally certified as a Green School in association with Young Indian planted various trees such as Amla, Mango, and Jackfruit within the school campus. The initiative was led by Nidhish John, the Coordinating Vice Chairman of ThalirYi, and was also present along with the Principal Ms Saritha Jayaraj.

The school’s Nature Club inaugurated a vegetable patch by sowing chilly, Brinjal, Ladies’ Finger and Pumpkin seeds. The patch will be taken care of by specific classes of Grades 5 to 8.

The school has a slew of environment-based activities planned throughout the week to ensure that nature conservation becomes a watchword for all its students.
