GPS Super Slam 2025 Concludes with Thrilling Matches and Stellar Performances
The fifth district-level GPS Super Slam concluded at Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor, after two days of intense competition that showcased sporting spirit, teamwork, and exceptional talent. Around fifteen teams from various schools across the district participated in the tournament, which featured basketball and football events.
The basketball tournament was held for boys and girls under 17, while the football tournament saw participation from boys under 19. The event was inaugurated by Ebin Sabu, national basketball player and CUSAT team member. Principal Dilip George presided over the ceremony.
The opening day witnessed exciting matches, with Global Public School securing victories in both basketball and football. In basketball, Global Public School triumphed over Sanskara School, Kakkanad (23–7), while in football, they defeated SNDP School, Thrippunithura (1–0).
The finals, held on Saturday, brought the tournament to an exciting close, with the following results:

The GPS Super Slam 2025 once again proved to be a vibrant platform celebrating youth talent, sportsmanship, and healthy competition. The event not only fostered a spirit of camaraderie among schools but also highlighted the growing enthusiasm for sports among students in the district.
