A 14-member student team from Global Public School, accompanied by a teacher, has embarked on a challenging and inspiring trek to Everest Base Camp, Nepal, in association with the RE-Live Adventure team. This initiative marks not only an adventurous milestone for the school but also a profound journey of personal growth and resilience for the students involved.

Over the past two months, the team has undergone rigorous preparation that included fitness training, nutrition planning, and mental conditioning. Through this process, the students have developed key life skills such as focus, stress management, teamwork, and emotional resilience—skills that extend far beyond the confines of the classroom.

The Everest Base Camp trek, considered one of the most iconic adventure challenges in the world, will push the students beyond their comfort zones. They will rough it out in the wilderness, adapt to living without familiar amenities, and learn to rely on each other as a cohesive unit. The trek is a real-time test of their physical endurance and psychological grit, forged through months of dedicated effort.

The trek is being conducted under the expert guidance of the RELive team, who specialize in organizing transformative outdoor experiences for youth. The team is expected to return on May 18, 2025, with not just stories of adventure but with a renewed sense of purpose, maturity, and accomplishment.
