After two years of children staying at home due to the pandemic, students of Global Public School were in for a treat this year as a week long celebration of Children’s Day awaited them.

Starting on Monday, 14th November with an assembly by the teachers of Junior school followed by a fun football match between students and teachers, the following are the other events that were planned for the children during the week:

 *14 th* -Senior School students to visit the Naval Base to see INS Vikrant, the first aircraft carrier to be built in India. 

 – Football match.Students vs  Teachers.

– Atal Tinkering Lab workshop for students

 *14 th- 18 th* : Anti Drug awareness campaign.

 *16 th-:* Special assembly for Children’s Day by teachers.

 *16 th-* Street play at Thiruvniyoor panchayat- Gr 8 and 9 students.

 *17 th:* Anti Drug awareness talk by a resource person from the Panchayat.

 *18 th :* Anti Drug Logo display 

 *14 th – 18 th* : Wall painting of ” Say No  to drugs ” logo for senior school & Anti Drug poster painting for Gr 6-8 

 *15 th* : Munambam Harbour DROP collection by Gr 11 council members. DROP is an initiative to save the oceans from plastic waste, by Plan@earth.

 *18 th:* Bin It drive by hostelites. This is a clean up drive.
