Amelia Mariam Abin wins gold in CBSE South India Swimming; Global Public School excels

Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor excels in the CBSE South India Swimming Championship. Class 8 student Amelia Mariam Abin achieved two medals in the girl’s Under-14 category. Amelia secured gold in 50m breaststroke and won bronze in 100m. In the Under-14 category 200m freestyle, 7th grader Hannah Elizabeth Seo finished fourth.
Global Public School students participated in the Under-14 and Under-11 categories in CBSE South India Swimming held at PS Shivashankarappa Residential School, Davangere, Karnataka. Apart from Amelia and Hannah, Milan Joy of Class IV, Ruvana V Nair of Class V and Basil Joy of Class VII were also part of the team. More than 2000 children from 180 schools participated in the South India Championship.

Amelia Mariam Abin, the winner of 50m breaststroke, will participate in the national championship that will be happening from 7 to 10 of this month at Rishikul Vidyapeeth in Haryana.
