CBSE Kochi Sahodaya District Kalotsav got a colourful beginning at Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor enticing young talents. The Non- Stage competition of the Kalotsava happened here in 35 venues got as many as 2000 students participation in around 75 events. Earlier, Global Public School Board Advisor Lakshmi Ramachandran inaugurated the event.

Kochi Sahodaya President Aravind Lakshman, Vice President K Suresh, Secretary GG Rajalakshmi, Joint Secretary Sreekala Karunakaran, Kalotsav Co-ordinator Chikoo Shivan, Treasurer Sonia Robin and GPS Principal Saritha Jayaraj were present at the inaugural function.

Speech and poetry recitation competitions in Malayalam, English, Hindi, Arabic and Sanskrit languages were held. In the dissertation category, competition in story, poem, essay and In the painting category, competitions in water color, oil, crayon painting, pencil drawing, collage, cartoon and poster designing were also conducted.

Competitions in anchoring, power point presentation and digital painting were also there.
The stage competitions were held at St. Peter’s School, Kolenchery from 12 Oct 23 to 14 Oct 23. The prize distribution ceremony was also held at that venue.
