Swathi Sankar of 8D won bronze at the 10th International Shitoryu Karatedo Championship held in Jakarta, Indonesia. She represented India in the 12-13 age group above 47kg Female Kumite category. The competition was held from September 22 to 24 and was organised by the Asia Pacific Shitoryu Karate Federation.
