Duke of Edinburgh

Duke of Edinburgh Award

The Duke of Edinburgh Award program (DOfE) was introduced to encourage our students to become involved in voluntary self-development activities.

This youth awards program founded in the UK in 1956, in honour of the late Duke of Edinburgh, is a life changing activity that gives the participants an edge in college admissions and in job prospects where having soft skills are appreciated. It also makes the participants resilient and confident, while they commit themselves to the community at large. Students take part in various activities such as voluntary services, physical recreational activities, skills inculcation and even adventurous journeys, at different levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold at their comfortable pace.
