21^st June 2023 was celebrated as a Bagless Day at Global Public School Thiruvaniyoor- the Bagless Day was implemented as part of the National Education Policy Guidelines 2020.

The day was filled with experiential learning moments including a unique tryst with the band, Arioso Quintet in association with the Shaan Rahman Music Conservatory on World Music Day. Noted musician, singer and composer Mr. Shaan Rahman spoke with students during the interactive workshop by Arioso Quintet which gave a wonderful insight on different string instruments like the violin, viola and cello.

A Sarvang Veda Yoga demo by Mr Ajay Joseph Johnny on International Yoga Day and a celebration of our new students as part of Fresher’s Day. 

While a group of students also led a yoga demo at Adarsh Special School, Kandanad another set were busy tinkering at the Atal Tinkering Lab and creating LED based traffic lights.

The unique learning day was interspersed with a special focus on subject based hands on activities for all grades from 1 to 12   pepped with a dollop of sporting events including football and basketball matches.

The Seniors also had a session to uplift the Mind, Body and Spirit with Dr. Vivek from Renai Medicity who shared his thoughts on Body dysmorphia and eating disorders.

Global Public School was happy to be able to implement the Bagless Day as part of the National Education Policy Guidelines 2020 and plan to have many such days during the academic year.
